Daniel Dubois: Cheated Out of Victory
British Heavyweight Seeks Justice
Dubois on Loss to Usyk: I Want a Rematch
After his controversial loss to Oleksandr Usyk, British heavyweight Daniel Dubois has come out to express his disappointment and frustration. Dubois believes he was cheated out of a victory, and he is determined to get justice.
Usyk, the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight boxing champion, faced off against Dubois in a highly anticipated bout. Dubois was knocked down in the eighth round and stopped in the ninth round by a dominant Usyk.
However, Dubois claims that he was hit with a low blow in the eighth round, which he believes altered the outcome of the fight. "I felt cheated," Dubois said. "I was in control of the fight, and then I got hit with that low blow. It completely changed the fight."
Dubois is now demanding a rematch with Usyk. "I want to get justice," he said. "I want to fight Usyk again, and I want to prove that I am the better fighter."
It remains to be seen whether or not Dubois will get his rematch with Usyk. However, his determination to get justice is a testament to his fighting spirit.
