Disney Original Movie Set to Premiere on Disney Plus
New Teaser and Poster Released
Get ready to return to the Isle of the Lost and Auradon Prep for an all-new adventure in the world of Descendants. Disney has released a new teaser and poster for "Descendants: The Rise of Red," the fourth installment in the hit franchise that follows the children of Disney's most infamous villains.
The music-driven movie will premiere exclusively on Disney Plus on Friday, July 12, followed by a special encore on Friday, Aug. 2. It will also be available to rent on digital platforms.
Red, the daughter of the Evil Queen from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," is now the Headmaster of Auradon Prep and has extended an invitation to the school to another VK, Red. However, Red's plans take a sinister turn when she uses a magical artifact to trap the children of the Disney heroes on the Isle of the Lost.
The new teaser gives a glimpse of the epic battle that will ensue as the VKs team up to rescue their friends and take down Red. The poster features Red standing defiantly in front of the Auradon Prep crest, her eyes glowing with power.
